<p>Do this:<br />
a. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator.<br />
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.</p>
<p>b. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:</p>
<p>net user (user name) /Passwordchg:yes</p>
<p>Note: Substitute (user name) with the user name you want to allow changing their password. For example, if user account name is “windows”, then type the following command and press enter:</p>
<p>net user windows /Passwordchg:yes</p>

1) Turn off and unplug.<br />
2) Remove the battery.<br />
3) Open the door on the bottom that covers the Wifi card.  Usually the smallest door.<br />
4) Look for two small metal contacts labeled RTC(RST).  Using a flat head screw driver, touch both contacts at the same time for 30 seconds.  Be sure you do not move the screw driver during this time.<br />
5) Plug in the computer and boot.<br />
6) Password gone.  Shut down and reinstall the battery.</p>
