Cstitch v0.9.8 A free and open source program for creating cross stitch patterns from images. Features Load images in various formats, including jpg, png, and gif. Choose from several options for selecting colors to be used in the pattern →more information. Choose how large you want your final pattern to be (by choosing the size of squares to be imposed on your image →more information). Edit your pattern (see the screenshot above) with tools including draw, change color, and fill region →more information. Save your project and restore for later editing →more information. DMC/Anchor color codes and names are now displayed in the main windows (instead of RGB). Added the ability to specify fabric of a particular squares per inch/cm in the dimensions computer. We should now do better at finding a pdf viewer to auto-display saved pdf patterns. More settings are remembered so that they don't need to be reconfigured each time the program is run. Bug fixes. This is the first version for which the downloadable executable for Windows does not run on Windows XP.
