EmuTOS v1.0 EmuTOS v1.0 Free operating system for Atari computers, and more. EmuTOS is a Free operating system for computers based on Motorola 680x0 or ColdFire microprocessors. It features functionality similar to TOS, which powered the Atari ST and its successors between 1985 and 1994. EmuTOS is extremely flexible. It can run on real hardware as a ROM replacement, bootable floppy, standard executable, cartridge... It is available in 11 languages for 13 different variants. Of course, it also runs happily on any Atari emulator such as ARAnyM, Hatari, or Steem SSE. As Free Software, it can also be recompiled from sources to be completely customized. The EmuTOS project started in 2001, and it is still being actively developed. Some parts originate in old open-sourced code from Digital Research, while other parts have been developed from scratch. It has since evolved into an international project involving over 100 community contributors, encompassing both webgames and animations created for numerous internet plugins, frameworks, and standards. Flashpoint utilizes a strong selection of open-source software. By combining the power of Apache, a custom-built launcher, and our own application called the Flashpoint Secure Player, we can play web-based media in a quick, user-friendly environment without leaving permanent changes or security holes on your computer. FreeBASIC v1.10.1 FreeBASIC v1.10.1 A free/open source (GPL), BASIC compiler for Microsoft Windows, DOS and Linux. The FreeBASIC project is a set of cross-platform development tools, consisting of a compiler, GNU-based assembler, linker and archiver, and supporting runtime libraries, including a software-based graphics library. The compiler, fbc, currently supports building for i386-based architectures on the DOS, Linux, Windows and Xbox platforms. The project also contains thin bindings (header files) to some popular 3rd party libraries such as the C runtime library, Allegro, SDL, OpenGL, GTK+, the Windows API and many others, as well as example programs for many of these libraries. FreeBASIC is a high-level programming language supporting procedural, object-orientated and meta-programming paradigms, with a syntax compatible to Microsoft QuickBASIC. In fact, the FreeBASIC project originally began as an attempt to create a code-compatible, free alternative to Microsoft QuickBASIC, but it has since grown into a powerful development tool. FreeBASIC can be seen to extend the capabilities of Microsoft QuickBASIC in a number of ways, supporting more data types, language constructs, programming styles, and modern platforms and APIs.
