Image Lock PEA v1.3 Image Lock PEA v1.3 Protects photos, drawings, and documents with a password. Thanks to the integrated viewer the images are never stored unencrypted on the hard disk, but are held only in the memory. Because all documents can be easily converted in image formats like png, bmp, gif or jpg, the Image Lock PEA is also suitable to display all sorts of documents with a little more effort. You can use for example the PeaFactory's extra menu to convert pdf files into images which can than be encrypted with the Image Lock PEA. Image Lock PEA uses functions to derive the key from the password, that protect against attackers with a high budget (availability of ASICs, FPGAs). The authenticated Encryption (EAX mode) ensures the integrity and authenticity in addition to confidentiality. The Image Lock PEA offers the possibility to export the encrypted images unencrypted. Different images can be managed by one PEA and can be encrypted with different passwords. Since version 1.0 you can encrypt several images, but for performance reasons, Image Lock PEA is still not suitable for managing a large number of images. InControl v1.0.8082.2 InControl v1.0.8082.2 Easily manage Windows 10 and 11 out-of-control updating and upgrading. Controls Windows automatic updating/upgrading system by targeting it to a specific major version and feature update release. By default, the current release will be used. So if you “Take Control” with the major version and feature release shown in the boxes in the lower left, Windows will remain right where it is – only installing monthly security updates – until you “Release control”. If you wish to move to a future release, say from Windows 10 21H1 to Windows 10 21H2, you can first “Release Control” to allow those two fields to be edited. Then change the “21H1” to “21H2” and press “Take Control”. Windows Update will now be targeted at the 21H2 feature release and will offer it for installation once it's available. And if you do nothing else, your system will remain there until you again deliberately release control. Note that InControl will hold your Windows right where it is, even after the current version and feature release has gone out of support. You will see a complaint about the current version of Windows requiring an update. But your system will not be updated while you are InControl. If you have been playing with InControl and want to restore its Version and Release fields to their natural (current) default values, delete those fields' contents while the system is not under control, then click “Take Control” and they will be set to the system's current version and feature release. This program provides a similar functionality as the well-known WGet and cURL tools. However, in contrast to those, INetGet is based directly on the "native" Windows Internet programming interface (WinINet). The program queries the five main whois servers responsible for each region of the world and try to automatically establish the most authoritative for the IP specified. Then it return the country's two-letter TLD (for example US), the extended country name (for example United States of America), its world region (for example North America) and a string containing a brief description of the organization managing the block of IP addresses containing the submitted IP (when available). The program can also process a list of IPs stored in a comma delimited file and generate a new file with the country fields added to it. ip2c is a multithreaded application, and queries all the servers in parallel to minimize the overall response time. ip2c is distributed as a console (or command line) application (ip2c.exe) and a Windows GUI application (ip2c_gui.exe). In case the header of a JPEG file is corrupt you will not be able to open or view the the file. A JPEG header only represents a tiny amount of the file and that corruption may be beyond this header. For JPGRepair to work the actual image bitstream needs to be detectable. This means JPGRepair needs to find the SOS and EOI markers within the corrupt image. SOS: Start of Scan, “FF DA” in hex. EOI: End if Image, “FF D9” in hex. JPGRepair also repairs invalid markers within the actual image stream. For this it does not depend on a reference file.
